If you have any questions at all, please contact the foster department directly. Other KHS phone numbers, emails, or departments are unable to help with any foster concerns. 

Contacting other departments will delay you getting answers and delay your animal getting care.

How to Use the Emergency Line

E-Line: (502) 515-3135

The emergency line is available for AFTER HOURS FOSTER USE ONLY. 

• If you have an emergency DURING OFFICE HOURS, please call (502) 366-3355 ext 4007, or bring the animal to our Main Campus location for immediate care.

• If you have an emergency AFTER HOURS ONLY, please call the e-line.

• Your call will not be answered live. Instead, leave a message and a staff member will call you back within 5-10 minutes. This gives us time to set up what needs to be done on our end and figure out the best plan of action.

• Be prepared to take your foster to one of our veterinary partners if needed.

• If you don't hear back after 10 minutes, you can call the line again.
