Abraham has been in with us for about a month and we would love to send him to foster to decompress while he up for adoption!
Dogs: yes, playful. M&G required.
Cats: Unknown. Ok to try.
Kids: Unknown. 8+ due to slightly jumpy and mouthy. Restrictions are negotiable depending on experience and comfort level of child. Needs to meet any children in home or frequent interactions.

Lulu came to KHS a very scared puppy and has really bloomed here with some help from her previous foster mom and the behavior team since returning from foster. We would love to find another foster home for her while she is up for adoption. We would especially love a foster home that will continue to train her.
Kids: Would suggest kids 10+ due to mouthy play
Dogs: Has become more confident and social with other dogs, is in daily PGs
Cats: Unknown
Other: Should be fed separate from other dogs and children. Some possible resource guarding tendencies with food.

Zeus came to KHS after reportedly living outside on a chain and has struggled with various illness since he came here (currently recovering from upper respiratory infection). We would love to get him into a foster home decompress and learn more about him.
Kids: Has met children but has not lived with them, Interacts well with all or most children
Dogs: Plays well with all or most dogs
Cats: Has seen cats but has not lived with them, Chases, barks at or pesters cats

Cheeseburger is a young pup that has spent too much time in the shelter. He would benefit from a foster home that will work on training and helping him get adoption ready.

Kids: 12+ due to jumpy mouthy play behaviors.
Other: Would do best in an active home with other playful dogs.

Snow Cone is a pup found in our parking lot and has been VERY STRESSED here in the shelter and is not doing well in this environment. Would love to give her a chance to decompress and learn more about her.
Kids: Has shown fear to children, see prev. memo. M&G and older kids
Dogs: Ok. Does well in play groups.
Cats: Unknown
Other: Per current foster: "She is excellent in the crate and is making great progress toward house training. She was a bit reactive on the leash"
